Head Counselor

Selecting this opportunity notifies us that you are interested in a leadership role within the counseling role.

A head counselor will have additional training days to attend prior to all staff training.

Responsibilities of a head counselor include and are not limited to: aiding in staff training sessions, being a resource for other counseling staff, developing resources for staff, and leading in-services.

It is preferred that head counselors have multiple years of summer camp counseling and/or childcare experience and are at least 19 years old.
Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee Member

Those on the Diversity, Equity and Inclusion (DEI) Committee will be asked to attend meetings (virtual and/or in person) leading up to and throughout the summer.

Committee members will help start new and continue with previous conversations that center around diversity, equity and inclusion at Camp Manitou.
Support Staff Intern

Aid on Grounds Crew with projects

Selecting this opportunity notifies us that you are interested in helping our grounds crew with projects that may come up around camp.

This does not guarantee that you will be aiding with projects. It does tell the administrative and facilities team that you are interested in helping if the need arises.

Scheduling for this opportunity is likely to happen closer to the summer and as the summer progresses and the needs of camp develop.
